s/o how long to put up a fan
It looks like I'll find out tonight. DH is currently putting a fan up in the back room. It's this one from Lowes: http://bit.ly/h5491d
I told him I was going to time him for an experiment on thenest and he said "don't start yet! I'm still gathering tools"
According to him, we can officially start the clock at 6:30.

HAHAHAHA! Okay, 40mins down... progress report?
hmm... the long bar part is up (but not flush with the ceiling yet) and he is connecting wires. and grunting.
in the interest of full disclosure, there was not a fan here previously so there wasn't one to take down. but the electrical box in the ceiling had been installed a couple weeks ago. basically we've had wires hanging down for a while now.

LOL! He felt the pressure of the nesties. We're around 1hr 25min now. How's it going?
How is it that my BABY is going to be 3?
BFP-2/25/11; 8 Wk U/S-3/25/11-No HB, measured 6.5 wks; D&C
1 hour and 50 minutes and he just finished. (I was not allowed to round and say 2 hours lol)
I only had to help with holding the blades up while he screwed them in.
We did have a scare at the end, when we turned the power back on and it didn't start. Then we flipped the wall switch to "off" and it turned on. oops. So now he's re-wiring that so it will be the correct orientation.
It's nice! It provides way more light in the room than we had before, plus there is moving air now. bonus!

Well, he beat DH's two days (brittjoy was so right). And the fan still ticks.

It's cool. He's good at computers. Not so much in the handy department.
