Paint help

Our landlord agreed to pay for the paint if we painted the house (inside).  This excites me a LOT because the people who lived there before painted with FLAT paint...yes, flat!  I can't wipe the nasty handprints off the walls from their kids because the paint comes off the dang walls.

So, anyway - I now have an ENTIRE house to paint.  1,900 sq.ft.

Stipulations - it has to be neutral colors but they don't have to be the same in every room and I'm pretty sure doing an accent wall would be ok if they were neutral.  We have to use eggshell kind of paint so, it's cleanable (yay!).

Looks like I'll be painting all summer but where do I start?  I don't really want every wall beige......Brown is neutral right?
