so had the phone interview

It was only 10 minutes if that and mostly asking me why I wanted to work for them and how I heard of them. and what's my salary range..at the end she said she'll be in touch with me in the next week or so. I thought it'll be a lot more questions so I was preparing for it all day.

At the end she said that's all the questions she had and she'll keep in touch within the next week or so. I asked if I could get her contact information and she gave me her phone number (the phone she call me from) and no last name. So even though I was hesitant I asked for her last name and she gave it to me. Now I am thinking, do I call her back tomorrow and thank her?  I was hoping that she'd give me an email address. She's not part of the company, she's recruiting for them is my understanding...when I applied it was one of those "third party" applications I filled out and sent...

i guess now I enter the waiting period.

Re: so had the phone interview

  • no, don't call her back tomorrow.  Try to find her on www.linkedin.com and send her a thank you email.  If you can't find her there then call next week to follow up.

  • So after the interview when I got her name, I did look her up on linkedin and she is on LI but not active. Has 0 connection. I haven't really added anyone that I didn't have their email address first so I don't know...

I found out the company she works for, and it's an outsourced human resource management place..
