Friday Eve
And thank goodness for that! This morning has been a whirlwind between sneezing my head off, almost t-boning some idiot high schooler because she ran a damn red light to walking in the doors finding out one of the teachers at this school passed away yesterday. I just want to start this day over without any of that. I'm not sure what to expect out of today so just going to go with the flow.
My throat is no longer on fire (yay!) just scratchy and my allergies are in full force. Thanks to sleeping sitting up, I was able to sleep a full 5 hours. I should probably make an appt with the girlie doctor since I've yet to have a period since I stopped taking the pill in January (not pregnant either, already ruled that out). Geez, I love my body.

Morning! I debated whether or not I wanted to come in to work today or give myself a day to rest. I eventually got up and left at my usual time, only to battle horrific traffic the entire way to work and was almost a half an hour late. FML.
H has a doctor's appointment to get his hernia checked out today and to see whether or not he'll need surgery which is at the hospital I work at so I'll be in and out to go to the appt with him, etc.
Cold seems to be on the mend thanks to nasal decongestant and a much better night's sleep last night!

I'm very excited about the fact that its warm enough for me to wear flip flops. I have nothing else worth sharing because I'm tired of listening to myself complain about work.

So insanely jealous. Rained last night, then I woke up to SNOW! 2 inches as a matter of fact. The drive in was horrific, I was sliding all over, took me 20 minutes longer than usual. Boo hiss!

I'm thrilled that it's almost the weekend! This week has been more than enough to handle...
We are currently finishing our basement at home, and the furniture finally arrives tomorrow! Which means that there is an end in sight!

Flip flop season hollerrrrrrrrrrr
I'm sniffing out the weekend.
Last night I returned to Old Navy and Walfart, picked a few things up at Walfart, got five groceries at Redner's, looked for curtains at Marburn (no dice), and picked up flonase and BCP refills at Rite Aid.
At home I packed my gym bag and lunch, put laundry away, ate dinner, and watched Body of Proof. MFD got home and we watched CSI, Modern Family and Happy Endings. I liked it.
I was snoozing by 11:30. zzzzzz so sleepy.
I'm going to have a productive day today, it's gorgeous out, and I have my sculpting class at 12:45.
Emily- I know what you are going through in college I didn't get my period for about 5 or 6 months. Not pregnant either. I have always had very effed up cycles
Thank goodness tomorrow is friday! Today is the first day (knock on woood) I actually feel well.
Are only plans this weekend are going to the baseball game on Sunday. I may tell Greg to bring a friend instead. Besides that we have no plans. YAY!
I woke up and for several moments thought it was Friday. And then realized it was not. I have nothing to do at work today. Or tomorrow or next week. I really want my boss to tell me to just go home - I'd rather not get paid for a week than sit around doing nothing - it gets really old, really fast.
Plus, I have stuff to do at home! I need to bake for this weekend, and finish my wedding video. When my photographer stopped by she asked about it so she can show it to prospective clients.
Tomorrow I have a half day at work because I have to go to the dentist first thing in the morning. So that's something.
It's raining here! I like the rain and we've had a couple days of pretty decent weather so Im not too bummed and around here we need a good rain for a good crop! Farm girl in me loves the rain :-)
I am wearing flip flops despite the weather, but then I wear them in the snow too so...
Yesterday's conference with E's teacher went great! She's the only one in her class that can write her name and she's 5 months younger than everybody else. Now we have to reevaluate after the end of summer break to see if they will stick her up with her now class which will be the 4's and she'll only be 3 1/2.
Tonight Toby has a softball meeting and I was going to go but I've been exhausted lately and so I think I'll stay home a veg.

We were in Florida a few weeks ago and it was so nice to ditch the socks and shoes. But by the time we got home, there was snow on the ground.

Yesterday DH and I painted our dining room. It looks beautiful, but is going to need a second coat which I will hopefully get done today before work.
This morning it looks absolutely fantastic outside. The sun is shining and there are no clouds in the sky, but I checked the temperature and it is only 29...brrr.
I am (un)patiently awaiting a package today from Kohl's. We bought new running shoes, DH got jeans, and we got our pots and pans set we had registered for.

I also very seriously considered ditching my clients today. I really should have worked from home.
On the plus side, I'm also cheering on the flip flops crowd. I didn't/couldn't wear flip flop today, but I am rocking some killer peep toe pumps.
How is everyone? I feel like I have been AWOL forever. I do keep intouch with ladies via words-with-friends.

Good afternoon. I came in to work late because I had an issue to take care of. Last night I watched American Idol, and for the life of me I don't know why. Honestly maybe 2 people on that show have any talent, everyone else sucks. I really need to stop watching the show but I just can't.
Tonight is training so I'll be home late. I just want to go home, watch Grey's and go to bed.
Oh, funny story. Yesterday I checked out PO Box and Richard got a letter from The Scooter Store. I thought it was hilarious! Earlier in the week he got a letter from AARP. I think they're trying to tell him something.
Hate to be the bearer of bad news but I *think* it's a rerun tonight and new episodes don't start til 4/28. That's what I heard anyway.
Boo! But at least I don't have to worry about missing a new episode.
