Hi ladies, I received bad news about my Aunt. She has been battling cancer off and on for the last 5 years. She went back for post chemo check and they told her it is back and has fully covered her good lung. She never smoked a day in her life so I know the fact that she is dealing with lung cancer is really difficult for her. They did tell her at her original diagnosis that life expectancy with treatment was about 5 years, so this isn't totally a surprise, but it doesn't make it any easier to get such bad news.
Anyhow, she never married and her support system is really just my mom and their brother. I know that they are all meeting tonight to decide what she wants to do going forward. She gets every horrible side effect listed from chemo so I think she is going to opt for no further treatments. If you could just keep her in your T&Ps while she makes this decision I would really appreciate it.
