A friend was diagnosed with leukemia yesterday. She's 28, married and has a 1 year old. She's been in the hospital since April 2 and it took until yesterday for them to find what was wrong. They transfered her to MD Anderson in Houston last night.
I am not very close with her, but I am very close to her sister in law. Her SIL actually went to the gaga concert with me on Saturday and was telling us how Bethany was sick and they thought it was bacterial meningitis, but the 5 spinal taps she got all came back negative even though she had clasic symptoms. Since they thought it was meningitis she couldn't see her son the entire time she was in the hospital, and now she found out she's not contagious, but she left for Houston and she has cancer.
Please pray that God doesn't take this little boy's mommy from him. 
UPDATE: It turns out that Bethany has stage 4 breast cancer that has spread to her brain. I don't know anything else yet. Just pray that this is at least worth fighting.
