question for the moms (including pregnant ones)
when did you start feeling outside movement? C's getting inside pressure sometimes but not kicks yet.
C is only 20 w (today) and is currently at the cardiologist (the peri sends all multiples there for echos as a precautionary measure, good since hers turned up a mild murmur - normal w/ multiples - so now the fetuses are getting an echo) and the anatomy scan is tonight, so I know we'll get to check up and all that, but I am continually paranoid. I think I'll feel better when they've moving a ton (then I'll move onto worrying about pre-term labor...).
Re: question for the moms (including pregnant ones)
I don't think Alexi felt M kick for the first time until closer to 25 weeks...not so much because he couldn't, but every time he put his hand on my belly when she was moving she'd be still. I could feel it on the outside probably a couple weeks sooner than that, but I knew (from feeling it on the inside) exactly where and when to put my hand on my belly.
GL at the anatomy scan tonight! I hope you'll post an update with pics of the girls
Pretty much what Heather said. Kirk felt her once at about 18 weeks and then that was it for quite awhile. It helps when you can feel from the inside first. I started feeling her everyday a little after 20 weeks. He now tends to try and feel first thing in the morning before I get out of bed and he is usually successful!
I haven't felt anything on the outside yet! Some ladies on the Sept 2011 boards have said they can but I think they are skinny minis. That's going to be so cool when you can! Can't wait to hear about the appts and hope everything goes smoothly!
I haven't felt anything yet and know that the absolute soonest is about 13-14 weeks, but most likely 16 weeks +
(ETA: this is for inside movement ... of course outside movement will come after that once the baby is strong enough!)
Just remember that a lot of it has to do with the location of the placenta

I think Clayton felt it at about 20 weeks because I *think* it was after our US
Inside movement I felt around 16 weeks

Keith couldn't feel outside kicks until 25-30 weeks. But even then it wasn't kicks, it was Brody sticking a body part (usually his butt) out really far.
ok you guys are making me feel better. C says she feels "pressure" and "rolling" a lot so maybe they wont be kickers? she said the cardio echo took an hour because they were really squirmy and it was hard to get pics
now I'm really excited to see them tonight!
