I thought Anoka county did our the first Wed of the month. Weather.com says Anoka-Hennepin is in a tornado watch until 2pm....do you think they just did a test of the sirens or should I be freaking out?
Re: Tornado sirens?
we just got this message:
(4/14/11) As part of Severe Weather Awareness Week, local officials will be conducting severe weather siren testing today at 1:45 p.m., CST.
Thanks, ladies.
Anxiety level: decreased.
I checked weather underground when the sirens went off and it looked like there was a tornado watch until 2pm for a ton of counties. There was some "red" activity on the radar just to the northwest of Minneapolis.
I could have read that wrong though.
