I am sorry but I need to vent.

I am so beyond tired of being sick! Seriously...enough already! Between me & the boys...every week we are at the doctors if not multiple! UGH!

I am still dealing with the stomach bug. I can't even keep liquids in! I went to the drs today bc I thought I had a sinus infection too. While I was out of work might as well get seen...yup got sick at the drs office. I am dehydrated (NO SH*T!) have low blood pressure a fever and a sinus infection! Can't treat the sinus infection until the GI stuff is under control. Awesome.

I swing next door to Shaws to get saltines and gatorade...yup get sick in Shaws! Lovely.

I am supposed to drink bc I am dehydrated but I can't keep it in. How does that help? Ugh! I just want to be healthy. I just want my family to be healthy!

Oh and I got blood work on my birthday. How unfair is that? A gorgeous day it turned out to be but I have such bad stomach pains I am curled up in bed with my computer.

Happy birthday to me.

Vent over. :(

  • Oh no, Nikki! That's just plain awful. I hope that you and the boys finally get a break and it is nothing but HEALTHINESS for your family for the remainder of the year. So not fair :(

    Hope you feel better soon.

  • that is awful :(  i'm so, so sorry that you are still sick, especially on your birthday! i really hope you are feeling 100% soon so you can have a proper celebration a little late.

can DH pick up some pedialyte pops? i think you need to find a a way to hydrate that involves minimal drinking and the pops. i know my bff said those were the only thing that helped when her daughter had a stomach bug that landed her in the hospital for dehydration.

    *hugs*

  • Oh Nikki! NOO! :( That's horrid. I agree, you need some pedialyte pops. I really hope you're all better soon. It's no fun being sick and sucks even more on your birthday.
  • Aw Nik I was really hoping that you would be feeling better by now. I am so sorry you got sick too. You should have called me, I would have brought you stuff. And no I wouldn't have come in, I could have rang the doorbell and ran :)

    Looooove youuuuu!

  • That is awful.  I hope you start feeling better real soon!  From what others said, get those pedi pops (i never would have thought to try them for us, just kids).
  • Yes I agree with everyone else. Get yourself some popsicles, pedilite or whatever. Beggers can't be choosers at this point so whatever you can hold down is good. What a s*itty way to celebrate your birthday. as soon as you start to feel better you definitely need to celebrate!
