Mommy's with the Moby Wrap...? for you
Do you love it? Can you put your LO in by yourself? Was it hard to learn how to wrap it? How young did you use it for your LO? Sorry for the spacing, on my phone and lazy to put breaks in. TIA!
Baby, you've got the sort of eyes that tell me tales...

Re: Mommy's with the Moby Wrap...? for you
Hello!! I had the Sleepy Wrap but they are pretty much the same thing as the Moby. Anyway, I used it all the time up until he was around 5 months because then he was just too heavy for it(that is when I got a woven wrap). I would have used it from the start but I was initimidated by it so I didn't get one until he was a little older. It was confusing to me at first because I don't learn well from written and picture directions. The most helpful thing for me was watching You Tube videos. Once I did it a few times it was super easy. Here are the videos I used, although she is using a Sleepy Wrap it works just the same for the Moby.
And here is actually putting the baby in...
Once I did a few times it was very easy to put him in on my own. The stretchy wraps are the best thing ever for newborns and once you get it down you will be so happy to have it! Oh and if you want to use it when you are out, just put it on before you go and then just pop him in when you get there. It is just a lot easier then wrapping all that fabric out in a public place or parking lot.
Hope you guys are doing well, he is so so adorable!!

Honestly, I wanted one so very much when I was registering, but then once I had Sami, I think I used my Moby a total of 1 time. I even got two at my shower, and gave them both away because I just didnt have the need for them. The concept is great, but trying to put it on right while juggling a baby just didn't work well for me at all.

This is kind of what I'm afraid of. And to be honest, he isn't very needy (yet) requiring me to hold him all of the time.

That is a good point. We held him all the time for the first few months(he wouldn't let us put him down b/c of reflux, tummy issues, etc), so for us baby carriers were necessary. Don't be worried about juggling him to put it on b/c you can get it situated and slide him right in with the carry in that video(some of the other carries have you wrap it around the baby and that can be trickier when they are so small). If you looking for something a little more quick to get on and off, a ring sling is awesome! We still use ours all the time too.
