I saw a duck fly into the side of a semi driving home from work the other day. Not sure how the duck misjudged it. Duck bounced backward and kind of dropped into the grassy median area- thankfully this was not on the interstate, just a busy road. It stayed there for the duration of a red light and then got up and flew away.

On a turkey 'note' a local nestie had a wild turkey crash into her office window breaking it, then it chilled out on a file cabinet and the landloard had to come get rid of it.

She posted the youtube link. Wild turkeys freak me out.

I also saw a wild turkey on the side of the road this morning on my way to work. it was just chillin out on the sidewalk. They are so odd to look at too.

Apparently it's the season for wild turkeys.

I saw a flock of wild turkeys crossing the road from a liquor store to a field a couple weeks ago.

when i lived in california it was like 97 degrees one day and a deer was walking down the street.

i know nothing about deer and their habitat but since i'm an east coast girl, i don't expect to see deer unless it's freezing and perhaps a chance of snow.

I have never seen a wild turkey... and I also can't think of anything strang I have seen.

Deer are out all year. Poor FIL had most of his garden eaten last summer by the deer. This summer he has put up a pretty sturdy 6ft fence to help deter the deer. We also see them in the summer a lot in the field behind our house, and in the roads.

Wow! Really Jess!! I figured in North Jerz there would be so many more! I see them mostly during the spring/summer the most.
