Wedding photographer recs?
My best friend is getting married! She's overwhelmed by the >$3K pricetag on photographers, so I'm trying to dig up some options for her. She doesn't need the best of the best and I'll be doing her engagement pictures so she won't need that either.
It'll be up in the St. Cloud area, so does anyone have any affordable recommendations that are in central MN or that would travel from the cities? Thanks!

Re: Wedding photographer recs?
Come ask over on The MSP Knot board!
We used Snap.Grin Photography and loved them. We only paid $1k, but I think they're up around $1500 now.
Eat.Drink.BeMarried. Blog.
Numbers- I'll ask her, but I know she's somewhat picky about them actually having a business. She knows my biggest regret is not doing a true professional photographer for my own wedding! Her wedding is sometime around May 2012.
Steph- thanks! I posted it over there. The website looks great for the one you posted, it just looks like St. Cloud might be out of their range of locations. I'll have her email if she's interested.

The photographer's name is Ashley, and she worked with us on pricing (we also had a friend of ours do our engagement pictures, so she cut us a deal based on that too). Our wedding pictures turned out beautifully, and she gave us all the rights to our photos as well.
She's super professional, great to communicate with.
She also brought a friend of hers (Salwa Bullard) to assist her on the wedding day. She took excellent shots as well, and blogged a couple of our wedding photos she captured: http://www.salwabullard.com/2010/brianna-and-chris-wed/
He has a photography business he just doesn't do a whole lot of weddings.

Britt from Render Photography was around $1500 for a very extensive package. Great fun personality and my pics were fantastic IMHO. I got compliments from almost everyone who saw them and many thought they were the best they've seen. Super fun and acomodating.
