Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

So I took a long shot and emailed my wedding photographer.
Guess who does Newborn photos and his sitting fee is giving us a wicked good deal??? (metzgerstudios.com- although no newborn photos on his site since he is primarily a wedding/commercial photographer, but he does have 4 kids of his own and I've seen the photos he takes of them on facebook and they are much better than I could ever take...)
That guy! Woohoo! I am so excited...He has experience, takes a good photo, and we can afford him (I think he may be cutting us a deal). Everything is a la carte with him (as of now) but I did just email him to see how much images on file/slideshow/some extras would cost (considering the sitting fee is pretty reasonable). I did ask for some samples, though.
Now...I wonder if he does maternity...or maybe I will just use my friend who is a photographer to do those, since she's pretty affordable and those aren't AS important to me as the newborn ones.
