The news you want to hear: AF started right on time so I am on my 2nd round of Clomid.
The other news: I have been working about 20 hours a week these days and it looks like it will continue. It's not so bad and I am quite enjoying it. Let's just say I now have a different standard of what a clean house is.
Also, DH and I got 15% off at Tim-Br Mart (a local building supply store) so we bought materials to build our woodshed, resurface our deck (just doing plywood and duradeck), and to build a 10 x 12 ( I think that that's the dimensions) shed.
I have TWO <--- see that, TWO working drawers in my kitchen... AND, get this, more to come tomorrow and this weekend I think...
DH and I have had a deal for a while now that if the Vancouver Canucks make the second round of the playoffs we are getting cable TV for a month. But it is now expanded, that the kitchen has to be done too or, if I'm feeling nice, mostly done. But it is looking like it might be done because DH seems to have quite a bit of motivation these days. YAHOOOO... FINALLY.
Melting Snow... because it means that spring is actually on the way and it's not snowing or cold.
Re: So, update...
Did you do any ultrasounds to see if you have any follies going and did your temps look like you ovulated?
I know it's frustrating. I'm about to start provera to bring on AF and then start round 2 of clomid.....
Hang in there
PCOS and Endo
Ovarian drilling and endo removed 1/3/12
BFP - 3/27/12
Beta's 11, 14, 57, 637, 2800
Sono showed no baby and teeny tiny sac. Waiting to M/C naturally.
I thought you were on hold for IUI. I was wondering if you would still be taking Provera... Anyway, are you going to continue doing Clomid (and maybe Provera) until the IUI?
My OBGYN said my progesterone was 27 (which she said was enough to get me pregnant) and my temps showed I ovulated....
The interesting thing to me is that on the non-medicated cycle my progesterone was higher but my OBGYN said that could have been a secondary surge in progesterone (It was like day 23 or 24). Do you know anything about that?
I don't have ultrasounds (The joys of Cdn health care/extended health, I think, they only pay for what they have too), however the OBGYN said that if I have bad pain around ovulation again this month they will probably start doing them.
Thanks for the support.
I talked to my nurse today. They said we could do all the meds without IUI first so, we are going to try that route. I just wasn't comfortable with doing that when there are less invasive things to try first. I understand why he wants to do the IUI though (morphology).
So, I'll be starting provera probably next week and go from there. I don't know about the progesterone surge. I don't even know what my level is but I'm assuming if it was low, they would have told me.
I have healthcare but it doesn't pay for any of this. It's all OOP and quite expensive! I"m wishing you the best
Do you know if you did 50 or 100 of Clomid? I did 50 last time but it will be 100 this time. I'm a little anxious about it because I had some not so fun side effects on 50. I can only imagine the "fun" 100 will bring me!

I agree... The less invasive part first sounds better... If we have to move on to IUI or something, we aren't sure we will... We may move onto adoption.
I am on 100mg. I will be going up to 150 if it doesn't work.
On side effects, I cried all over DH last night... He said I was extra emotional last month too. But the optimistic part is that I feel like my AF is more like normal peoples this month (whatever that is...) ... Hmmm... That sounds wierd.
I had my DH read all the side effect information and things just so he would be aware. I know I've said this before but him being extra supportive and understanding makes a huge difference. I know that your DH is very supportive and wants a family as much as you do so I would focus on that... I do I know.
Sounds like some good news and some bad news. Yay for two draws and boo for AF. I hope the next round of Clomid works for you.
And I'll keep my fingers that the Canuks make it to round two. I watched the game last night it was a great one. I'm rooting for the Canuks to make it all the way (in the west anyway)

Hooray for a timely AF
You and Bill will definitely continue to be in my prayers (and you too Ashley!). I just found out that 2 friends of mine who have been trying for over a year are now expecting, one of them through IUI. I hope that isn't offensive of me to tell you that. It just gives me so much hope for all of my friends who are trying.
And yahoo on more progress in the kitchen!
