Report back on Zoo Blooms & Tunes
I know a few people were interested in what I thought about it -
I thought it was AWESOME!!! A bit crowded around the band - but that's kind of what I expect from a concert like that. I'll say that the first band was a bit loud for the little ones with us - both of them were holding their ears and so we moved away from the main area.
All the houses were open, so you could walk around just like a regular day trip and there were plenty of food/drink vendors grilling out & serving up microbrews. (It was a bit apparent that they were making some $$ off the booze though - micros were $6 draft - but admission was free and we scored free street parking, so $6 beer wasn't a big deal for us.)
