Savannah Review

it was about a 2 hour drive from Charleston.

Since we were only there for the day, we did one of those Hop On/Off Trolleys. It was really nice b/c as soon as you got off the expressway, the parking lot was there and you could park for free.

We did the tour, had lunch at The Pirate's House, got back on the trolley to go get our car, went back downtown to River Street, landed a awesome spot and the parking is free on Sunday and walked the River Front.

Highlights:

Davenport House

Market Center (shopping, candy store and restaurants)

VinnieVanGoGo Pizza - Where we had dinner

Leopold's Ice Cream Shop - Oldest Ice Cream shop. Expensive, but good.

Wet Willy's - Frozen Drinks

If you are on the River Front, you can take your beverages down the walk. They also have a open area where people perform and sell handmade goodies. Great for picture taking. LOL.

You can also do Boat tours/dinner cruises
