Between Lily being floppy until 6 months old, not rolling very much, the fact that she has made practically zero progress towards crawling, (or any other form of getting around), in the past three months, (she still just goes around in a circle and backwards, can't stay on her knees, and cries a lot when she's on her belly), and having a few other symptoms of (mild) hypotonia, I decided to get her evaluated. It's gotten to the point where Lily is really fussy most of the time because she wants to move but she can't, so she just points at stuff and cries. And I've tried all of the exercises in the book her pedi let me borrow, and she just screams when we do them.
I'm probably just being a worry-wart momma, but I can't stand waiting another month and a half when we aren't seeing any progress despite giving her tummy time and lots of floor time. I'm hoping they will, at a minimum, give me some exercises to help her get moving!
Re: So, I decided to call ECI
Do not feel like a worry wart momma, I was told at 15 months to expect a word explosion by 18 months, even though I was worried about the boys' speech development, and at 18 months it didn't come so I raised my concerns again and was told to wait... so I waited until 20 months, and finally got the eval... here we are with the boys turning 2 on Sunday and I still have not seen any word "explosions" even with getting speech services for 2 months...
get it checked now, it can't hurt!
The aim of life is to live, and to live means to be aware; joyously, drunkenly, serenely, divinely aware. -Henry Miller

Sounds like a good plan!
