It's been a quiet second half of the week around here. What do you guys have going on for the weekend?
Tonight we have a family birthday dinner to celebrate my aunt's and DH's birthdays. Tomorrow I need to finish up our taxes. Sunday night we have volleyball.
Does anyone have Monday off for Patriot's Day?
I'd rather be rock climbing or playing volleyball

This weekend, DH and I will have our first real "date night" since DS was born. We've left him for a family party at the IL's after DS's bedtime, or to run some errands on a weekend afternoon. But we haven't actually had a date, so we finally will on Saturday!
Sunday we're having a cook-out with some friends.
I don't think DH has Monday off. He has all floating holidays, which he never takes, he just uses them as extra vacation days.
Tonight- I have my 18 week appt then probably baking a cheesecake for my brother-- I also start my on-call as of tonight (thru next Friday AM)
Saturday- body pump in the AM then going to check out the Baby Budoir Outlet in New Bedford and then have a girls night at Margaritas
Sunday- prenatal yoga in the AM and then going to my parents to celebrate my brother's birthday
Today we're heading up your way for another (hopefully final) round of house hunting. That will fill our Saturday and the first part of Sunday before we head back to PA.
Patriot's Day. Gonna have to get used to that once we move up there.

Tonight I'm going with one of my SIL to have her hair trial with my BFF for her wedding. Then headed home to get some stuff done for for the cupcakes I'm making a friends baby shower.
Saturday I'm spending all day in Boston with my other SIL and the other girls in the family to go shopping for her wedding dress. We're going to dinner and to a show (not sure which though). I'm excited, its going to be a fun day but a long day. Saturday night I have to finish the cupcakes for the baby shower.
Sunday is the baby shower. And then hopefully I'll be able to spend a little time with H.
I have to work Monday. Bummer...
It'll be a low-key weekend here. Jack got neutered yesterday, so we'll mostly be hanging out to make sure he's ok. I'm going to make us a nice dinner on Saturday night, though (beef wellington), so hopefully, it'll at least "feel" like a date night.
We both took vacation days on Monday, as neither of us get the day off. Hopefully, Jack will be recovered enough (and will stop jumping long enough) for us to go out for lunch or something.

Tomorrow I'm heading to the Boston Beer Summit at Park Plaza Castle - so excited for this!
Sunday we have no plans, probably just a lazy day in.

I'm totally working from home on Monday. I don't need to be in the office to do my job, but I try not to take advantage too much of working from home lest they stop letting me do it or I get a bad rep. But on holidays my bus doesn't run downtown at all so commuting is a huge PITA.
Yes, officially dangerous since they hand you a cup and give you free reign to drink as much beer as you can from 50+ breweries set up around the castle lol.
I have the same set up as you when it comes to working from home. There is no reason I can't do my job from home but I don't want to take advantage of the perk. I think the T being on a holiday schedule is a good enough excuse for me

Yay Friday!
It's April vacation so I have the whole week off. I am really looking forward to spending a ton of time with my little one and the rest of the family (hopefully taking some day trips to see aunts, uncles, and cousins).
Sadly, she seems to be teething hard core today ... totally cranky so it may be a long night.
So jealous of the Beer Summit. Pre-baby we totally would have been going. I probably have a few friends that will be working some of the tables.
I have Monday off.
My mom is visiting. My dad gets in next week. so DH and I plannd a date night for tomorrow night but with the storms rolling in, we may have to push it back to Sunday night. We are in for some nasty weather tomorrow and tomorrow night (40 mph winds, severe thunder, lightening, heavy rain, and hail).
Yeah it's probably not a good idea to go to a Beer Summit when you're 82 weeks pregnant
We had a great time but I really wish I had brought pen and paper to take note of my favorites because now I don't remember, boo.
