Cookies - Weekend Help!

I'm a cooking-challenged woman this week I guess!

So my parents are here this weekend, arriving tomorrow morning, and I have no idea what we're going to eat all weekend! We'll have Sat lunch, Sat dinner, Sun lunch/dinner.

I have some chicken wings, a nice pork shoulder, ground beef, chicken thighs and chicken breasts. I made Chicken Oreganato last time they were here so that's out.

Pulled pork sandwiches for one meal like Saturday night?  We could do them with potatoes on the grill (potato packets in foil - yum)? So then what for Sunday? Anyone have a great chicken breast marinade then we can grill them sunday? Something that keeps the chicken nice and juicy????

Gah. I need easy and cheap. and as dairy-free as possible.

  • this Slow Cooker Pulled Pork is awesome. if you have the ingredients, get the rub on there asap. the longer it is in the rub, the better it is.

if you can find salamida's spiedie sauce in your grocery store, i highly recommend that for grilling chicken. you can also make Spiedies from scratch. again, the longer it is in the marinade, the better. last night, we had salamida's bbq chicken sauce which was also great and would be even better on the grill.

    HTH!

I can vouch for the spidies recipe - I made that last year for a cookout, and man was that chicken good!  Need to find time to do that recipe again.  It was a huge hit.

kristen, if you can find salamida's it is as good if not better and i think at like $2/bottle possibly cheaper than making it.
