So I was listening to a local radio station this morning, Kiss 108, and the morning guy has listeners call in during a segment and tell what's going on in their life. Some chick called to say how she was nervous cause she was going to South Dakota to hike and camp this weekend with some guy she met on the Internet, who she has actually never met. The dj (and pretty much every other sane person in the world) was horrified at this prospect.
But it led another caller to call in and say that she is meeting 40 women from all over the country that she met online, at a gtg at a restaurant. He asked her how she met these 40 women and she said that it was The Knot.
Suffice it to say, the dj and his show costars thought that was infinitely more acceptable than going into the woods for 3 days with a total stranger and getting hacked to death.
Anyway, made me think of this board.

I heard the same thing this morning, and thought about the board! It sounded like they had all gotten married years ago, but still stayed in touch through many kids, etc. It was pretty cool that they were all meeting up.
And
at the South Dakota chick....she was unreal!
I just love Matty's responses. He cracks me up and always says what I'm thinking. Some people have "work husbands"...he's my radio husband.
That station is not really my "go-to" in the morning, but more and more when I do catch it, it is pretty entertaining. I loved his responses this morning, and would love to know how South Dakota chick ends up.
The music drives me crazy (if I hear Rhianna one more time, I'm going to stab myself) so I tend to change the channel or turn the volume down for that, but come back when it's talking time. Which is like the polar opposite of what I do with every other radio station.
And yeah, I hope that chick calls back. If she doesn't get hacked to death.
