Meal Plan for next week...
What's everyone making for dinner this upcoming week?
Anyone have anything super this past week? If so, recipes...?
Re: Meal Plan for next week...
We are having...
Tonight- crockpot meatloaf (ground beef and sausage) with mashed potaoes
Saturday and Sunday night- Baked GF ziti and salad
Monday- Hot dogs and Beans
Tuesday- Cheese Enchilladas
Wednesday- Leftovers
Thursday- Burger Soup
Friday- Burger Soup
Saturday- Crockpot Pork and Potatoes
***I am vegetarian so all the meat meals are for DH... I will eat edamame and salad those nights
Last week my favorite thing we ate was Cheesy Mashed Potatoes (link to recipe in last post)
DH favorite thing was taco soup....

I want to make this http://smittenkitchen.com/2008/04/spring-panzanella/ this week sometime, and hopefully I'll get to try to make cheese spaetzle soon too. :-)
Tangent: One of my favorite restaurants in SF is ironically one that only has like two vegetarian options b/c it's a German restaurant/hofbrau, and one is cheese spaetzle. But it's so freaking cracktastically good I couldn't care less that I "have" to get it every time!
I think I'll make linguine with herbs and tomatoes this week too, and scallops for DH. I've been craving light foods like soups and salads and vegetables tarts, etc. Well, except for the spaetzle, which is not light at all but merely amazing...
I've also been looking for a recipe for garlic egg noodles (like Asian style noodle dish) if anyone has one?
We don't assign days to our meals, we just plan seven dinners and eat them on the nights we feel like it.
So far for next week we're having:
Sandwiches and salad
Beef stew with rice
Mac & cheese (homemade, unless we get lazy, then we have some boxed stuff on hand)
Spaghetti
Our weekly pizza night
