I have been working on a quilt for the past couple of weeks and really want to get it done before I return to work full-time. So I finished the quilt top yesterday and my task for today (during naps) has been to get it pinned to the batting and backing.
So I got it spread out and smoothed out nicely on the floor in the front hallway (where there's room to kneel and I can still hear LO wake up) and the cat walked up and puked on it.
Luckily I was going to wash it anyway once it's done to give it a crinkly look, but yuck! And it has light and dark colors and sure enough, she puked on a light patch.
Re: Darn cat!
Ugh! Cats and their puking. I'm sorry.
I'm having a "darn cat" day myself. Actually it's a "darn catS" day... or week...
good thing they're so damn cute.
Why do cats always find the wrong spot to puke??? It's like they know. My fav is when you wake up in the middle of the night and step in it....ugg
Not to hijack but my darn cat story: When I was like 54 weeks pregnant (okay only 38-40) DH and I worked on a 10,000 piece puzzle that was super complicated to pass the time. We were about 90% done when I went in for my induction. We were planning on finishing. Well we get back from the hospital with DS in our arms and found the puzzle to be ALL OVER THE FLOOR. The cats had a field day. We almost had kitty burgers for dinner
