We're slow today ladies! What are your plans for this lovely weekend?!
Re: Weekend Plans?
This afternoon I have my 18 week appt and then probably will start baking my brother's birthday cake (thinking peanut butter brownie cheesecake?). I also am on-call starting this afternoon thru next Friday.
Saturday- bodypump first thing and then heading down to New Bedford MA to check out cribs at this store that is supposed to have great deals... then girls night after that.
Sunday- prenatal yoga and then to my parents house for my brother's birthday celebration.
Today: Work then just hanging out at home tonight
Tomorrow: I have an appt at 8AM tomorrow morning. ugh. what was I thinking when I scheduled that? Then volunteering at the animal shelter for a bit, cleaning the house, doing my menu plan/grocery list for the week, taking the dog for a long walk. Then I have to work tomorrow night for a few hours. booo
Sunday: Get some cooking/baking done for the week, relax, putter around the house. Maybe the dog park if it's not raining.
Having one of those "5PM can't come soon enough!" sort of days
Tonight: Planning a nice mellow night w/ DH to relax, get some Chinese takeout and watch some movies, nothing crazy.
Tomorrow: Getting a long coffee stroll in the morning w/ DH, maybe some grocery shopping and finally cashing in on our anniversary present from last year, which was mid-June: heading to Newport Vineyards for a tour/tasting (a really little tasting for me!), and then a helicopter tour of the coast afterward. Not sure what's planned for the rest of the night, probably just relaxing.
Sunday: Depending on the weather, I'd like to get out & walk around more but if it's gross we might go to the gym. Probably cleaning the apartment, relaxing and cooking a big Sunday dinner. Wild times at our place!

Tomorrow: My niece's first birthday party! I can't believe she is already one! Then headed up to Bangor for the night for a joint bday celebration bash for my DH and a couple of our friends. It's been a rough couple weeks and we never go out so I plan on having a few..or many...adult beverages.
Sunday: Recovering from Sat night
Headed to see my IL's baby goat that was just born yesterday, headed home to clean and then do nothing!
Oh my goodness, I am loving this! I dub this another perfect weekend in my mind!
Aw, thanks! We have room for an extra person for the tour/tasting, come on down!

Haha, this is what happens when Jess P goes on vacation
Today - went to a wonderful mom's/playgroup with Caroline. No nap and she was hungry, but was awesome through it! PT for my foot and then hopefully MIL can watch her longer so DH and I can try out the new Mexican place in town and have a meal alone.
Tomorrow - Hoping that DH can burn so he can get rid of the brush and continue working on that. Pouring the concerete for the deck footings and just general home stuff.
Sunday- think breakfast with the IL's. Then viewing a home up for auction. Think DH and FIL are going to go in on it and flip it. Cuase ya know, it's bee a few months since DH has had a major progject. *sigh* Then visiting with family afterwards.
Tonight: dinner with the nanas and Marcus after work.
Saturday: catching up on some housework, get outside to play and do yardwork if it's nice out.
Sunday: Going to CT and back for work (taking Friday off to go to CT to visit family - too many trips to CT in one week!)
Haha thanks!
This is my second week working from home so I'm kinda excited to get out of the house!
Tonight: headed out to get Taylor as soon as 430 rolls around and I get stuff into the car. Going to Bangor for the weekend. Tonight it's Paddy Murphy's and "To Kill a Mockingbird" with some friends. Mimi and Grampy are taking Taylor so I can play and Daddy is staying home.
Tomorrow: We were having her 1 yr pics taken in Bar Harbor but I changed the date. So going to Kenduskeag Stream canoe race party then errands and Taylor is having her first haircut. We are going all out and having my hairdresser do it
Sunday: Baby shower for a close friend from HS. Can't wait because it will be the same group from my shower in Feb 2010 and we haven't really gotten together since then. Probably breakfast in the am with a few of them too. Coming home afterwards.
Monday I took off because of no daycare. Taylor has her 1 yr appt then we are going to Kennebec Music Together demo at the Children's Museum...then a nap for both of us!!
Busy busy busy!
Tonight MIL and I are taking the boys to see the Easter Bunny... hopefully it goes better than Santa.
Tomorrow: nothing in the morning, then tomorrow afternoon we are going to ILs to celebrate the boys' birthday with them.
Sunday: The boys are 2!! Some sort of little celebration with them and then we are going to a birthday party for a friend's daughter who is one year older and has the same birthday as the boys. Then we are putting the boys to bed for a bit, packing up the car and heading to DC! (with the boys, we will wake them up when we start driving, around midnight)
Then it is one long, (hopefully) glorious week of vacation in DC, just me, Josh and the boys
Tonight: Nuthin' and in large quantities.
Tomorrow: Hair cut for me at a new salon first thing in the morning- wish me luck! Then arranging my chore chart- laundry, trying to find a cheap place to get James' haircut, dishes, groceries, returning the 2 dresses I'm not keeping to JCP, finding cute Easter accessories for James, working on ripping down the falling down ceiling in our shower, cleaning bird poop and dust off the exterior and interior (respectively) of my car, maybe yard work while James runs around? I'd like to fit in some fun family time in there too.
Tomorrow Night: Trying out a new Chinese food place down the street. I don't expect it to be great, but I'm hoping it's decent. We'll see. I also want to work on a first year photobook for James since My Publisher is running a special for free extra pages- which is where I always get stymied!
Sunday: More of the same chores- it's an exciting life I lead, I know. Maybe work on a better budget, maybe practice dancing? I should work on my bellydance costume more too.
I'm happy it's Friday evening! Things have been go-go-go since last Friday.
Tonight: having a drink in honor of my dad's work. 15 years ago he was helping me with a school project and had an idea for how to innovate the way a certain device in space telescopes is designed. (Granted, this is his job, but this idea was a biggie). This week, the telescope that uses this device became public knowledge. I'm so proud of my dad!
Tomorrow: So with all the activity of the last week, my condo has descended into extreme messiness. I will go to the store, exercise and then devote the day to cleaning and de-cluttering!
Sunday: Finish up the cleaning. Make a present for a baby shower in two weeks. Bake. Try to get together for coffee with my BFF.
