Gallbladder question - Possible TMI
Hi ladies,
I was just wondering if anyone else has had their gallbladder removed? If so do you still have "attacks"?
I ended up having to have mine removed after I had L because I was having such severe attacks that I was ending up in the ER. After having it removed I went through the typical adjustment phase and thought I was in the clear but in the past few months I have started to have attacks again. The most recent one started on Sunday night and last over 24 hours. I was horribly sick, couldn't keep anything down and was vomiting bile( sorry for the TMI). Since then I just haven't felt well, and food and I are not getting along. Any time I eat anything, whether its bread or water, I am am uncomfortable and I have pain on my right side. Also not much has stayed in my body.
I unfortunately do not have health insurance at the moment so I didn't go to the ER and I haven't called my dr yet but I was just wondering if anyone else had experienced anything like this. If so any recommendations on what to do to feel better?

no advice re: gallbladder, but there is a pretty crazy stomach bug going around that has those exact symptoms - DH had it and several people I"ve worked with have had it this past week - so many you just have that bug vs. it being something related to your gallbladder??
