Do any of you have hanging planters?
If so, what do you have in them?
We inherited 6 really nice metal hanging planters from my parents (the kind that you put the moss liner in) and I have no idea what to put in them. Preferably something that won't easily die under the care of my black thumb!
Re: Do any of you have hanging planters?
I've always just bought the ones from Home Depot or Lowes and then transfered them over. Those things always die on me. I think it just gets too hot or something, no idea.
Good luck! I know I was not much help.
That was my parents' problem - their backyard is full sun all the time and the baskets would just get fried. Our yard is pretty heavily shaded because of tall, mature trees so I'm hoping they'll do better here.
I have one that I use on our shaded front porch and I usually plant bright colored annuals. They dry out super fast, so I have to water almost daily in the summer heat. You might try some of the moisture control potting soil to help it retain water.
I havent planted it yet this year, and Im thinking of trying a fern or something along those lines.
