Things not to say to a pregnant lady
So my magically dovchetastic VP (not the microwave pirate) was just at my desk asking about some files and he proceeded to say"
"So no one ever told me you were pregnant- I didn't know! I just thought you were eating too many dumplings!"
FVCK. YOU. For the most part, I would rather eat a bowl of hair than have to deal with you (a fact I'm pretty sure you're aware of, and why I didn't tell you in the first place), and now you make a truly breathtaking comment like that. Are you serious? F+ dude, F+. I hope you get arrested for the tax evasion you've clearly been trying to pull off for the last couple of years.
Oh, and tonight DH and I are getting Chinese take-out, and I'm going to eat an entire mountain of dumplings, and you can suck it.

Re: Things not to say to a pregnant lady
I'll add to that-- I asked DH to take a picture of me last week or the week before and he said "I don't know why you want a picture, people are just going to think you are getting fat".
People are stupid. Enjoy your Chinese!!!! And post a new picture!
You win, Mesa!
I took this yesterday to send to DH after my doctor warned me about the slippery slope of pregnancy eating (you mean I can't have biscuits & gravy every morning?! Damn).

You have the most adorable little bump! How anyone could mistake your firm bump for a beer and/or dumpling gut!
I'm guessing this VP is still single?
Thanks ladies! The weather is finally starting to warm up around here, and I can't wait to get into comfortable spring clothing, and yesterday I decided to kick start that.
Daniele- Ironically, yes he is still single. Can you believe it?! I'm beyond shocked he hasn't been the belle of the ball on match.com. He's such an asshat.

pregnancy is a special time in your life, it starts the invisible; non-human phase of your life.
