new product idea: opinions?
we're thinking about offering smart phone cases with our designs. It would be something like you pick your pattern/colors/fonts. We haven't decided on a certain price point yet, but are thinking it would be around $50 depending on which supplier we use. we'd be designing them and then sending out to a third party to have them made.
Is this something you think would sell well?

I am always looking for cases for my iPhone, but I will say that I wouldn't pay $50 for one. I think 30 would be the most I would spend. But I may be the minority.
I think the design is cute and if people could customize their own, and you market it right, you could get people to buy them.

I think it's a great idea! I love the designs, and to get one personalized it awesome too.
But, I dont have a fancy schmancy phone so I dont know anything about them or the cost of cases.

i'm a sucker for things with initials..i'd probably pay $50 for it AND I think it would make a great gift ..also, think of people who go to your sit for these and end up buying other stuff too!

Like Tiff said try it for a few months and see. I think we paid $30 for our cases and I have seen cases for more and they were not personalized or cute.
