Big plans for the weekend?
Anybody have any big plans for the weekend?
It's supposed to rain tomorrow and some of Saturday here in central IL, but one of my BMs is coming up for the weekend, so I'm looking forward to that. We're planning on going out for some dinner and drinks Saturday, and grilling out Sunday. Should be fun!

I'm gonna try to get my kitchen all painted. Don't know if I will because I have DIY ADD. IE, I'll be working on one project, then remember I have to, like, patch a hole, then I go patch the hole then forget I was doing the first thing... etc. So we'll see what happens.
DH is working all weekend! Boo!
This afternoon I am heading to the brad new Costco (opened yesterday)
Tonight I am going to buckle down and finish my last paper in law school! WOO HOO!!!! I cannot imagine what I will do with all my spare time!
Saturday and Sunday- I am going to spend quality time with the puppies! I can't wait. Also plan to re-arrange our bedroom.
Need to start looking for housing for August.... Our lease is up (Thank God) and need to buckle down and find a house to rent.

Fun! Kinda... I painted my kitchen in the fall. I normally like painting, but the kitchen got old after a while. It was a bit of a PITA, but the end result is well worth it! Drink a glass of wine and throw on a new TV series (if there's a TV within view), and it should help.
We might have a date day tomorrow. Possibly a movie. I might go buy some yarn and start working on a baby blanket I'm making for a friend.
Otherwise, just hanging out at home with a little grocery shopping at some point. We've got a couple busy weekends coming up in a few weeks, so we're taking it easy for now.
Plus it's snowing, and is supposed to rain/snow tomorrow, so who wants to go out in that? Not me.

I was supposed to run in the 3.2 for the 32 race this morning on campus, but the weather sucks and they canceled it. Boo.
So instead I worked for 3 hours in lab this morning, came home and baked chocolate chip cookies, am about to start on banana bread, doing laundry, cleaning the kitchen, and picking up DH from the airport (he went to see his parents this week).
Tomorrow we're going to a winery's open house for its club members (we are members, natch). It's from 12-4 and we get a tour of the vineyard and winery, a luncheon tasting put on by the restaurant's chef, and all the wine we can drink
Hmmmm...had lunch with the girls today and went shopping...bought necklace and cuuute bracelet to match at fun affordable boutique. :-)
Will be hosting BBQ gtg at the house tomorrow...not terribly excited as we have only been moved in TWO WEEKS and DH sprung this on me at the last second, because he has friends in town we haven't seen since the wedding.
I'm sure it will be fun though, as I've recruited my older-younger sister and a few of my own friends to come help me out so I don't feel stressed. I just feel like my house is a new toy, and I'm not prepared to share it, you know??
Besides, we're going out of town next weekend, and we need time to plan for that too. Meh. Oh well!
