Dear Community,
Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.
If you have questions about this, please email help@theknot.com.
Thank you.
Note: This only affects The Nest's community members and will not affect members on The Bump or The Knot.
I'm currently applying for an ESL teaching job at my school. Current ESL teacher is moving up to a different position, which leaves one open. I have my ESL endorsement, but have never interviewed for an ESL job. What type of questions did they ask you? Thanks.
Re: ESL Teachers
At my school, we are integrating the SIOP model so they asked about that.
They asked how I would handle a newcomer in my classroom.
Mostly, I was just asked the typical teacher questions (what would a typical day in my classroom look like, describe a difficult child and how I handled him/her, how do I make the best use of volunteers, etc).
Good luck!
