what were the best and worst parts of your weekend?
best: getting our front steps tuck-pointed (putting new mortar in between the bricks, there were big cracks all over), and i found a big oval frame at goodwill for $4, i'm turning it into a chalkboard!
worst: not much was bad, we had a really good weekend

Best: Fun nearly 70 mile ride yesterday with friends
Worst: Not getting as much done around the house as I wanted to. DH not working on the basement at all. At least he cleaned some of the gutters.

best - We have new FIESTAWARE! well... we will.
We purchased at Macys at 40%off AND the girl threw in her own F&F deal so we paid $105 for 12 dinner plates, 6 cereal bowls and a pitcher. We can pick them up at the end of the month. We need to go on the website to get the salad plates - they were not available in store.
We also took my dad and BIL to the Braves game (we lost) on Sunday. We got GREAT seats for $100 total (StubHub!) and had a good time/
worst - Fri night we had dinner at my Grandmothers in Woodstock, and drove back home in that downpour, plus our complex looked like a bomb went off in the woods. There were trees, branches, pinecones+needles EVERYwhere. I will say our grounskeepers are awesome. It was cleaned up by Sun A.M.!

Best: Dogwood Festival, Marietta Farmer's Market and pretty weather
Worst: storms on Friday nite= canceled plans; my allergies were hating me yesterday

Best - Got a lot done and had a good time at a friend's b'day BBQ (churrasco). We had a nice time with our college friends on Sunday.
Worst - One of Sally's claws sliced my right index finger when I was playing with her (one of her caps had apparently came off). I only call it a worst because that has to be the worst finger to get a cut on. Argghh!
Best: Getting our front yard project 2/3 of the way done, we tore out all the rotten wood and re-built one section with cement and a retaining wall. We only have one section left.
Worst: Something did not agree with my stomach yesterday, so we skipped church and I spent the day in bed.

best - sweetwater 420 festival and meeting the lead singer of rusted root on friday, dogwood festival on saturday, finally getting to spend some time with my h!!!, having to use a porta-potty (usually bad) 3 times at the 420 festival and getting a not used one every single time!!!
worst - wearing flip flops all weekend mean i have sore calf muscles today!

Best - Rathbun's for anniversary dinner with DH then Flip Burger for milkshakes for dessert. I love their Krispy Kreme milkshake!

Thx! It was a big discussion on the colors. I wanted Cobalt (dk blue), Turquoise, and Plum or Shamrock for the 3rd color. MrB disagreed.
We went back and forth, but we ended up with Cobalt, Lemongrass and Peacock.
But I did get the pitcher in turquoise! Yay!
Oh yeah, we went to the Dogwwod Fest on Saturday too. ZOMG the crowds! Must get there earlier next year.
