Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Talk about uncomfortable..
My parents bowl on a league and recently I got suckered into joining because 2 of there teammates are not coming back for medical reasons. With me joining that still leaves 1 spot open that we have to beg for a sub every week. Well, a few weeks ago I was real sick and couldnt make it, so some new guy played in my place.The next morning my mom wouldnt shut up about how cute/successful this guy is, and he dont drink...blah, blah, blah.. trying to play matchmaker.
I get to bowling this weekend and the guy is there again, playing on our team. Trying to talk to me the whole time. Apparently they (my mom and the other lady sub'in that night)were really trying hard to play matchmaker.
So while all of this is going on STBXH is there picking up P, though he wont leave cause there is a guy at our table trying to talk to me, My ex is about 3 lanes over staring me down and the guy I have been dating since December is supposed to come up there and have a beer with me.
Oh and my parents know about this guy i have been dating for months now and i find it disrespectful to try and play matchmaker

Yikes. I'd politely ask your parents to butt out. Back in my pre-DH days, my dad took me on a cruise, just the two of us. I found out later that it was his misguided attempt to try and help me find a nice guy. My sister and her husband met on a cruise so I guess he thought that was a great place to meet someone. Too bad the average age of the cruisers on our ship was like 70.
How are things going with the newish guy, btw? Has he met DD?
