Oh townhouse living
So....last week I noticed our neighbor's mailbox always open. After about 3 days, I realized that the door hinge must have broken.
Our mailboxes in our townhouse development are grouped together in sets of 3. My mailbox is actually not directly in front of my house, but this other set (with the broken mailbox is).
Rather than fix the hinge, I guess my neighbors decided to replace the entire mailbox. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and say that our builder went bankrupt so maybe they weren't able to find an identical mail box replacement.
But....they decided to hand paint a plain white mailbox and it looks horrific.
Hahahahahha. Greg is so insanely p!ssed off, it's cracking me up. If it wasn't so funny right now, I'd be angry too.
I'm going to have to sneak out there and get another close up photo, but I know the neighbors are home.

bwhahahahahaha, so funny though! Instead of just painting it white to at least try to blend in, they had to go all kindergarten style on it. Hilarious!
Do you have a HOA because somehow I don't see this "sneaking" by them!

Because our developer went bankrupt only 1/3 through the building of our neighborhood, the HOA is sorta outsourced to a Property Management Company (read: non-existent), so they're not on sight and only consists of 1 or 2 residents. There is no real communication to us at all other than what we're paying the landscapers.
We're definitely going to call them.

Apparently that guy! They totally didn't even try to match it because they could have just painted it white. They were also stupid in thinking all the neighbors would be good with their choice of artwork.
I'd call the HOA too and email the photo....

I really wish there were about 10 more white mailboxes in the pic. Then it would be like one of those "dare to be different" motivational posters, but in real life!
