Work Rant
I work in a property mangement office. I have been there for 2.5 years and have progressed from receptionist to Office Manager.
At the moment one of our Property Managers (we only have two) is away on a months holiday. I am Loving that he is away. He started with us just over a year ago, with no experiance, on a higher rate than all of us experiance people and is Useless. He never finishes anything, blames other staff members for his mistakes, hides problems and makes wild promises to the property owners.
To cover himself, he has made himself a part of our bosses personal friendship group, so she can no longer repremand him.
Since he has been away, we have all been working very hard to fix all the mistakes he left and make sure that we keep on top of the current work. I have to run all the mistakes past my boss to ensure I am correcting them the best way, and as a result she has had to pay money out of her own pocket for some of them.
Now knowing that he is useless, and is costing her money, my boss had Finally admitted he cannot do his job. So, instead of deciding to fire his ass like I would have, she has decided to restructure everybody else's roles to pick up his slack and make him Business Development Manager.
Rahhhh!!! Am I the only one who thinks this is totally crazy?!?!?! I gotta get a new job.....
