where'd you shop?
C has enough pants (a couple for work and a couple for the weekend from Kohls) and a couple of cardigans and sweaters (kohls) and about half a dozen tees and a couple of tanks (target & motherhood). I found one nice knit work shirt (jersey) at Motherhood too. I wanted to get her a couple more things for work (like nicer shirts) since its getting warmer and the tee/cardigan rotation is going to get old fast, but don't want to spend a ton. She normally (like 90% of the time) wears basically this to work:
ideas? i've scoured kohls, target and motherhood online. she only wears dresses to weddings so that isn't an option, so much of the maternity stuff has ruffles and flowers and that isn't going to work. (besides personal preference, she works with almost all men...ETA: and its a business casual environment - no jeans, no polos, khakis aren't encouraged)
disclaimer: i don't normally shop for C this much - we usually go shopping together a couple of times/yr for new stuff - but she's still weird about the maternity clothes and its working out well for them to just appear ![]()
Re: maternity clothes?
Have you tried Old Navy Maternity (online)? I may or may not have been browsing on that site over the weekend.
No really, I was shopping for some clothes for Florida and checked out the maternity section too. There seemed to be a lot of decent looking shirts/summer sweaters there.
(after all, I might get pregnant in June

Ah, I saw some button down shirts recently but can't remember where... Ann Taylor Loft? Someone also posted about emommies.com (not sure if that's right or not) but supposedly has good deals. Let me see if I can look at my internet history and get an idea of what I saw.
ETA: It was Zulily! Not sure if that store is still active or not...
nothing from old navy is "nice" enough for her office (and i liked the quality of target's tees better; luckily the ON near my office carries maternity so i could look since a lot of that is return by mail only).
I'll have to check JCP. Magda, I did see some on Zuilly last week but its gone now. I'll keep an eye there. Do you know if its hard to return to places like that?
Honestly, no idea! Probably... I'm having a hard time too but the ON shirts are working for right now for me-- I have to be professional looking so as long as I stick with black pants and some nice shirts, I'll be ok.

ETA: two more http://www.landsend.com/ix/index.html?store=le&action=newSearch&search=maternity
omg score! i love landsend and the quality is always awesome. AND sears is great for returns!
Zulily has zero return policy, so I wouldn't recommend them if you aren't sure about something.
I used Gap maternity and Motherhood for work stuff. I used ON and Target for weekend stuff.
