My splurge-tastic weekend! (AW meets IWLAMP)

So... last week, after a looooong period of hard work, my boss sent forth my promotion paperwork.  Woo-hoo!  (this is separate from my raise a few weeks ago - which was a basic automatic within-grade increase...)

I thought - "dang, there's a VIB coupon out at Sephora, and I'm going to reward myself!"  And that I did.  I went and blew $200 in gift cards that I've been hoarding for 2 years now.  I got a clarisonic Mia, Smashbox foundation, benefit eyeshadow, and plum colored mascara.  The best part?  I got a $20 gift card back from the Mall, since they were running a "Westfield style tour special"  All of that stuff for $180!!!

Then... on Sunday, I said - "it's a nice day - let's go to a winery!"  And that we did.  We hit up Black ankle and Elk Ridge.  Didn't buy anything at Black Ankle, but, we did get a couple of bottles at Elk Ridge.  On the way home, I was like "Organic Market?  BAM!"  And bought a nice baguette.  With some nice goat cheese.  And walnuts.  And wildflower honey. (And $8 lunchmeat for DD and DH) Yummy dinner.  Mmmm....

But, I didn't stop there.... we also hit up Barnes and Noble.  "Sure, I'll take a nook Color!"  :)  And that I did.  I had some performance award money from LAST YEAR sitting in my bank account waiting for just the right purchase. That thing is awesome.  I've had it less than 24 hours, and love it already.  I was thinking of rooting it with android so I can buy apps and stuff.... but, I pretty much like it as is.  Anyone have any good book or magazine suggestions?  (Or, want to "lend" me one??? ;)  )

So, there you have it.  I don't think I've ever spent around $650 on myself in 24 hours EVER.  Oh, but it felt so good!  :)
