Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

AW: Baby C's Room (Progress)
My Mom, Step Dad, Glen and I worked on baby C's room this weekend and we've come such a long way from bright blue shag carpet and Paddington Bear wallpaper.
We added new oak HW floors, a chair rail, removed the wallpaper and added paint, added new trim, a new closet and a new heater. Baby's furniture is now set in the room and we are starting to work on the finishing touches.
What I need to add yet: Replace the blanket over the chair, pick out fabric and make curtains, add blinds to the windows, add a shelf over the dresser, take photographs/add wall art and add an ivory sheet to the bed.
I'm getting so excited to meet the little guy!

Ooh I like the furniture as well, and the paint color!
You're inspiring me to post some pics of my own "Baby C's" nursery tonight.
It's pretty boring though because I'm waiting to girl-ify or boy-ify the decor until we find out the sex, but I've been dying to show it off to someone!

Ok, I'll post pics tonight. It's boring, but the green and yellow wall paint is pretty dang bright.

I'd love to make Jesse put HW floors in the baby's room. He'd kill me if I even asked.
Like I said on FB, I loooove the color and might copy you if we have a boy. Where's your chair from? I too am excited to see the finished product! Keep us updated.
