Dh does it again

I know I have posted here a few times about DH getting random ailments since I have been pregnant, including shingles (twice), infected poison oak, the 2 month long cold ect ect ect....

He is at it again.  My back has been bothering me these last few weeks and this weekend I dont know what he did but now all of a sudden his back is hurting.  He has a hard time bending over, rolling over, sitting, you name it.  And he refuses to take any pain killers.  Dont get me wrong, I feel bad for him but for gods sake!  The cat box is getting awful funky, yet he was able to mow the lawn yesterday.  I think he pulled a muscle or something but he is convinced he has a herniated disc (or 3).  WTF am I going to do with him?

  • Maybe his treatment needs to involve a very long needle?

Seriously, though-- is he legitimately hurt or is he psychosomatic?

  • I dont know....I cant decipher actual pain from normal boy pouting so I am not sure how injured he really is.  Of course if he is really hurt I will feel bad that I am skeptical, but if he really is injured it will take weeks for me to convince him to go to the Dr.

And seriously, if you refuse to take any painkillers then I really dont want to hear you *** about how much pain you are in.

I hate painkillers, myself, but there are times when they are necessary. If they aren't, then the litter box still needs emptying. Good luck!

  • That is really frustrating that he is being so difficult, especially if he's not doing anything to help remedy the situation (ie- medication or a doctor visit), and certainly the last thing you need to be dealing with right now! Hopefully he'll get his act together ASAP for your sake!
