Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Birthday party locations?
I am currently planning a surprise birthday dinner for my husband and I am trying to find a location that has somewhat of a private area for 20 people. Any suggestions? We would like to stay in either the northern suburbs or downtown, nothing on the south end.

I went to a surprise party at Pizza Luce downtown. The rented half of the restaurant and it was very separate.
There is a party room at the Independent in Uptown that is pretty cool.
Gluecks has a private room that I think is free if you get food, etc.
Brits has a space that I've been to and really enjoyed
I think the Shout House would be fun to do a bday party at, if people like to have a cocktail and sing!
I have thrown a few parties here- it is a really nice room and is free if you order $X amount of food/drink. Sorry I forget how much it was. I would check it out.
