I just dumped all of the contents of my bag out on my desk in an attempt to give my purse its monthly-ish cleaning, so here goes:
hand lotion, hairsticks wrapped in an elastic, 2 barrettes, a compact mirror, the pass to get into my building, boscia blotting papers, 2 pairs of earrings, a pack of tissues, a button, 2 pens, a nail file, hand sanitizer, rewetting drops, 3 lip balms, 2 lip glosses, VB mints, a moist towelette from the movie theater, my wallet, checkbook, VB Let Me Check list book, and my envelope of coupons.

Glucose Meter, insulin and needles for the day, wallet, glasses, meds (insulin pills if I dont have my shots, iron, prenatals and kidney meds - so over taking pills) about 10 BBB coupons for getting stuff for the house, ipod charger, three lip glosses, cuticle nippers, gum, coupons, bobby pins, pens, mascara, lotion, paint swatches, nail polish, fabric swatches, a million receipts, and car insurance paperwork. I think I need an intervention for all this stuff.. I am over holding onto most of it. Now I have a project for lunchtime!

WHBM receipt from December, expired coupon for a car wash, more old receipts, key to my office, pens, paperclips, 4 lipsticks, 2 lipglosses, 4 lip balms, 2 kinds of tictacs, compact mirror, another mirror, 2 small measuring tapes, concealer, VS hand lotion, face lotion, 2 different anti-bacterial hand foams from B&BW, small hairbrush, peppermints, gum, my wallet, sunglasses, checkbook, comb, bobbypins, bra measurement card from VS.

Probably the weirdest thing that's in there right now is a paper bag full of strawberries.
There is also a bottle of water, a diaper, my coupon book, my wallet, my checkbook, a stack of birthday party invitations, a bottle of kaopectate, a bunch of receipts and a few bills, a reusable shopping bag, a dollar, allergy meds, antidepressants, BCP's, 6 tubes of lip gloss, and my keys.
I never switched back to my normal big bag after my NY trip last week, so I'm still carrying a small leather crossbody bag. Normally I'm carrying a LOT of stuff, but now:
- Ipod touch w/ headphones
- phone
- keys
- apple
- fork and spoon
- flash drive
- sunglasses
- purell
- Neutrogena Naturals lip balm
- 3 of the CoverGirl Natureluxe Gloss balms: spice, hibiscus & grenache (I had a coupon and couldn't decide on a color..)
- compact
- small zipper wristlet thing with : license, credit card, debit card, healthcare card, elizabeth grady gift card, sephora card, 2 hair clips, a perfume tester, concealer, Neutrogena Moistureshine Lip Soother
I am not even going to go into all that is in the wallet-- its ridiculous. I just seriously pulled out 40 receipts from my purse. I also found a tape measure, nail files, headphones and my work cell, earrings and my business card holder. I need a new purse.
This is pretty pared down...if I was carrying my usual size bag, I'd have my big wallet and I wouldn't even begin to type all of the crap that's in there!!
I know that I have a tape measure in that bag too actually!

LOL. My wallet is reasonably clean and organized, but that's only because I bought a new one last week, so it forced me to pare down when I switched;) I still have a lot of cards though. I swear I have one for every retailer in the country!

I have to do it in layers. I carry my purse(s) inception style, a purse within a purse within a purse...
- Big purse: A pair of thick fuzzy socks, an umbrella, a pair of gloves, three books, two notebooks (one large, one small), spare keys, my regular keys, my train pass, a pen, two lipsticks, Advil, hand lotion, and a smaller purse...
- Smaller purse: A reusable shopping bag, my sunglasses in their case, another book, a pad of paper, two pens, a compact mirror, coupons, and my huge wallet...
- Wallet: All the standard things, plus pictures of my family, stamps, my checkbook, another pen, some more coupons, and a picture my mom drew for me a few years ago when I was sad about something.
Yea...all this and I don't even feel like I have enough with me...I like to keep snacks, band aids, Neosporin, and tampons with me, too. I just don't happen to have them right now.
At least I'm not as bad as my mom. She carries a hammer with her, no joke.

wallet, 2 holders with random credit cards and business cards, a kohls ad with my 30% off, a michaels store credit, 3 pens, a lipstain, chapstick, 2 cell phones (work and personal), my glass case, sunglasses in another case, a business card holder with my cards in it (real job), another card holder with PLFF and catering cards in it, a bottle of lotion, and a few tampons
Mine has 3 big pockets:
1) cell, gps, camera, and sunglasses
2) makeup bag (this is where the action is), wallet, authenticity card (should probably take that out), and meds (advil, allergy, epi pen)
3) bubble gum, a TY note for my MIL for Easter presents and a bill that needs to be mailed, pending stamps.
