How are we doing?
I'm down 0.2lbs. I'm actually surprised that I'm down considering the meds I've been on & the 860 calorie milkshake I inhaled. I haven't really been paying that much attention to what I've been eating... Just eating what actually sounds appealing & doesn't hurt. & I haven't been to the gym in a week
Re: Tuesday Accountability
I'm down to 145.8! That's down from 147.2 so it's a 1.4 pound loss. Yay! I stuck to my points pretty closely but once again failed on the workout front except for one intense workout onSaturday.
Goals this week are to kick it up in the gym. I mean it this time.
I had a good week. I'm down 2.5 pounds, mostly due to food choices, although I did go to the gym last night. I took my kindle for the first time and used it while on the treadmill. It was a little bouncy, but I increased the font size and was able to read. I have to say, that half hour went by super fast! I will have to try this again.
Unfortunately, my grocery bill seems to be climbing. We are buying a lot more produce that we used to, and no cheap fillers like rice or pasta. We are also buying more meat, which of course is $$. One nice thing is that some friends just offered us a bunch of fish they caught and don't think they'll be able to get through it all. That will help on the seafood front for a while.
My Ovulation Chart
I started taking my ipod to the gym and listening to audiobooks. I never used to be able to get through a 30 minute elliptical workout. Now it flies by. The book keeps me much more distracted than just listening to music.
I haven't been to the gym, so I am not sure where I am weight-wise. I did have to buy a dress two sizes larger than what I normally wear ... but it's fitted, so I am going to attribute the size increase to that.
I did some very intense yardwork this past weekend which left me sore for a couple days afterward. DH and I also took Mungee on a couple walks around the neighborhood.
I still have no self-control when it comes to eating. We had a huge Passover dinner last night and when we came home I ate a piece of chocolate covered matzoh, some Goldfish and a granola bar. I don't know what is wrong with me!
How is it that my BABY is going to be 3?

Obviously I am not trying to lose weight but my goal was not gain more than 39 pounds this pregnancy. This is a random number but only because I did not want to weigh more than 200.
Last week I lost 2 pounds and this week I gained 5. I am assuming this is water weight??? There is no weigh I gained 5 pounds or a net gain of 3.
I am still within range not to gain more than 39 but I am hoping for less at this point because I am starting to feel huge and I am only 24 weeks.
If it makes you feel better, most women just have a week here and there that you gain more than you want/think/expect. I always noticed mine after a week or loss or no gain, so that may be your answer. As long as you're still in the healthy range and not going crazy, I wouldn't bother worrying too much about it.
I am totally off track, but I'm still hovering around 149-150. I had my first post-baby period the week we moved, so between that and lots of takeout/fast food, I was back up to 153 at one point. I've levelled out, but our scale went wonky yesterday (I weighed in at 49.6 pounds this am!), so not sure exactly where I'm at until we can replace it.
DH bought me a couple of body bars and some weight gloves this past weekend, and I have some DVD's that I'm going to start using again. I have to admit, now that Jonathan's completely weaned, it's nice to get back to the hard stuff and not have to worry about whether it's going to affect him or not!
Goal before next week is to be back under 149, back to planning our meals out, and getting into a regular exercise routine.
"My 101 List - Updating asap, I swear!
You don't look huge at all!
Horrible, per the usual. I don't even know why I participate in these. lol
But we just started a biggest loser contest at work, so maybe that will be motivation for me to stick within my damn WW points.
I had a few weeks like that with B, I gained like 5 pounds all at once then nothing for 2-3 weeks. It'll all even out in the end.
I'm also not trying to lose, though I really need to work on what I'm eating. I just eat what sounds good and lately I've been SO hungry. At my last appointment I'd gained 4 pounds total and I had my GD test, which I passed (yay!).. which of course I used as an excuse to overdo it with sugar. i'm back in check now though
I'm hoping to gain about the same as I did with B (18 pounds) so that I don't have a lot to lose afterward. So far I'm on track for that.
I miss running though
