Random Tuesday Thoughts?
The thunderstorms make my job even more difficult so I expect that I will be even busier than I was yest. That part stinks b/c my poor brain was running at full steam ALL day yest.
I didn't sleep well again last night; I really wish my body would get over the fact that I'm weaning off my RX sleeping meds and deal with it. Between that, being so tired/stressed that my mind wouldn't stop & the very loud and intense thunderstorms last night, I was very restless.
I refinanced my car loan and will be saving lots of money in the monthly payment & interest so I'm super happy about that!
May have dinner w/ my sister at Baba India; we made tentative plans last week for tonight, but I haven't heard either way if we are still going for sure. I hope so b/c it sounds really yummy!!

I agree. This weather sucks! Where is our nice spring weather. I guess April shower is right. I think its rained almost ever single day in April so far!
I'm trying to have a positive outlook on today. I haven't had a good day in a while so I'm hoping to will change that!
I love that I can feel my baby move almost everyday! It makes everything more real!
I can't wait for 32 more days! Hopefully it'll be here before I know it
Had my first boot camp class last night and I am super tired, then I worked from 5a-7a in the ER and now I am at work from 8-430 today. Hoping our softball game gets cancelled tonight. Hubby is going to "pool school" to learn about taking care of our pool since we bought a house in December that has an awesome inground pool (can you say Knot Pool Party?!)
I'm really hoping that my poor little drains can accept all of this water. I'm really debating whether to ask if I can run home to check everything out. My H had to drive down past Maysville for training this morning but he made it there okay and I'm just praying that he gets home safely (I hate the AA Hwy).
My little sister (22 years old) just told me that she's moving to Idaho
She's going out next month for a week to talk to someone about a job. Ughhh....
On a brighter note, we have a holidy Friday so I am off work all day, H is off for 1/2 a day. We were going to do the Loveland Bike Trail but the rain will most likely stop that. I'm going to a wine tasting later that day and I think I'll stop at Origins.
I'm going to make homemade granola bars tonight, banana bread and maybe cranberry, white chocolate chip, oatmeal cookies. I also need to assemble a spinach-black bean lasagna for tomorrow (or Thursday). I've never made it but H is not looking forward to anymore meatless meals
Arrgh....my doctor's office is frustrating! Seems like my doctor is out due to his own injury (oh, the irony) so they called and left me a message cancelling my appointment for tomorrow, and telling me to call back the first week of May to reschedule. WTF? So I called them back, and they told me I could see the doc May 11 at the earliest. I asked if there were any other options (like hell I'm waiting three MORE weeks to find out when I'm allowed to run again!) and they said I could maybe see another doc, but I have to talk to my doc's assistant. So I left her a message clearly stating my dilemma. She called me back and left a rather unclear message in return (my phone didn't ring for some dumb reason) saying that no, I shouldn't see another doctor, and I should call back next week to reschedule. Arrgh. So I called her again and actually talked to her. She clarified that my doc may be in working on a light basis with patients next week, and if that's the case he can see me next week, but I have to call next Tuesday and talk to one of them. I'm sure if that works out, they'll probably offer me the most inconvenient time in the world and the doctor is always running an hour late anyway.
So big grumbles about that!! At least the good news is that I don't have to be at the doctor's office at 7:45 am tomorrow!!
Yesterday was a nice sunny day! Today I got my feet/shoes drenched getting into my car. Our driveway had quite a puddle going (at least 3 inches of water). But, I am dry now and hopefully the dounpours will subside for a while.
