Wow good one!  I lost my daddy to a massive heart attack when I was in 10th grade and I had an awful time dealing with it.  I cried all the time, like out of nowhere I would be laughing and then I would just burst into tears, cry myself to sleep every night kind of thing.  I've also had stomach aches and pains my whole life.  I was finally sent to a Psychologist (Psychiatrist.. not sure which he was) and diagnosed clinically depressed.  I saw the Dr for about a year and learned so much about myself and life and I haven't dealt with depression since.  He also taught me how to deal with the stomach stuff, which was all set on from stress.  I learned relaxation and meditation from him and even though I still miss my dad, I haven't dealt with real depression since :)

Favorite date restraunt: H proposed in the desert room at Berns so that's it!

Favorite beach: Most definatley Fort De Soto.

What do you do in your spare time: The interwebz :)  I just started mountain biking again and am truely loving it.  It's hard work and great exercise but so much fun!  I love the excitement of not knowing what's around each corner, seeing all the wildlife and different habitats in FL, and spending time outside with Hubby.

How is the "diet" life change coming:  Amazing!!  I lost 5 inches in my stomach!  I just got my before and after pics yesterday and it was awful!  I thought I would probably cry out of happiness that I've lost 24 pounds, but instead I wanted to cry because I was so disgusted with what I looked like before!  I was just eating tooooo much bread and not drinking enough water and my body went on a huge strike.  I'm finally back to my old happy healthy self and I'm not going to let that happen to myself ever.again.

Your dream job: I'm not really sure.  Some sort of therapy with children would be very rewarding I think.

How many children do you want: This is a hot subject on my brain right now.  Do I want 1,2 or no children at all.  Right now all I seem to want to do is fix up my house and go for a bike ride.  I'm afraid I never recieved the instinct.  I like to tell myself I have time, but who am I really kidding.  I'll be 35 this year.  I'm not getting any younger.  :/

How many years apart for children: My brother is 5 years older than me, and my nephew is 5 years older than my neice.  I love the idea of boy first, then a few years later the daughter.  That way she'll have someone close to her age looking out for her.  That would be my perfect scenario.

Since she is so excited, I'll ask a WHOLE bunch of questions! =)  Cool

What is your favorite wine?  I love a full bodied cab, an Oregon pinot noir, or if it's super hot out a nice NZ sauv blanc.  I'm honestly not sure of a fav lable, I've liked so many.  Probably Cakebread sauv blanc is the one that is making my mouth water the most just thinking about right now :)

Who is your favorite singer?  I've always loved Ani Difanco, but mostly for her writing rather than her singing.  The fact that she sings to deliver her super amazing lyrics is just a triple bonus for me.  I really love Taylor Swift lately.  Damien Rice!!!  Love him!  Jack Johnson and Ben Harper also <3

What do you like about Tampa (if anything)?  Hmm.  I like that it's pretty centrally located.  Miami is not too far, neither are the mountains in GA.  I like all the food here, like the different Thai places I go to all the time.  The beach on the WC rocks

What is your favorite restaurant?  Last night we went to Vallartas on Anderson.  It's nothing special, but I love the bartenders, the pico de gallo, and the occasional margarita.  and that it's close to home.

Which beach do you frequent?  I'll always drive the extra few miles to go to Ft De Soto.  If I am hungry and thirsty and don't feel like packing lunch, Clearwater it is!

What is the next book on your To Read list?  Water for Elephants!  I need to hurry, the movie will be out soon!  GTG?

What is your favorite healthy dinner meal to cook?  I'll tell you H's since that is what I cook most often.  Chicken, roasted brussel sprouts, and mashed cauliflower.  I keep meaning to blog it since his dad asked me my secret to my brussel sprouts.  I'm a blog slacker.

I read your blog. Do you read mine? ;)  I was seriously just looking for it, I don't think it's on my reader for some reason!   I have read it many times, It's like a professional blog and I need to take some notes from you on having a good one, bc mine is laaaaame!  I def follow you on Twitter.  You have a link on there right?

  • Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

    Where do you work?

What is the best and worst thing about your job?

I like your blog, I just started reading it!

How do you find time to blog?

  • imageEureka1017:

Where do you see yourself in 5 years? Well H is hoping to get promoted with his job which will likely entail relocating.  I'm just hoping it will be somewhere I can get out on some MTB trails!  I'm pretty go with the flow and can be happy anywhere for the most part.  Ideally H will be GM, and I will go back to school for therapy.

Where do you work?   I bartend at the CCF at International Plaza.

What is the best and worst thing about your job?  The flexible hours are both the best and worst thing.  Also, I absolutely love getting to meet new people every day.  I love getting time to chat and learn about them for the short time they spend with me.  I hate that my hands are always ugly and my feet are always sore.  I'm also getting too "old" for a job like this, but I still love it so I'm not ready to move on.  Yet.

I like your blog, I just started reading it!  Awww Thank you!!  I don't think I'm very good at it, but I really have missed writing so it's fun to do.  I'm going to try to get better about it and make it more fun and maybe come out of the closet with it someday:)

How do you find time to blog? I do it when I should be doing other things like cleaning my house!  Really, with no children I've got nothing but time.  Kind of sad, huh?  :)

  • Are you enjoying the fact that you stole my AMA day?  LOL soooo kidding, haha.

I think your new fitness outlook is outstanding.....very proud of you.  What has been the hardest thing to change as far as lifestyle to keep it healthy?

Are you enjoying the fact that you stole my AMA day?  LOL soooo kidding, haha.  It wasn't intentional I swear Angel But I'm thinking up lots of questions for you tomorrow!  (I ended up giving up my shift tomorrow so I can finish painting my ugly floorboards, ie procrastinate more)

I think your new fitness outlook is outstanding.....very proud of you.  What has been the hardest thing to change as far as lifestyle to keep it healthy?  Thank you so much!  Even though I saw a Dr and took medication (for the first 5 weeks) I still had physical withdrawl symptoms from coming off carbs and sugar for the first few days, so the first few days were the hardest part.  And going to bed feeling hungry sucks so my hardest challenge right now, off the medication and on my own, is to find the right combinations of foods during the day to keep me from ever really feeling too hungry, and also to keep me at this happy weight.  Hardest thing to change is the snacking on bread for hunger while at work.  I have promised myself I will never ever eat a piece of that sourdough bread from my job ever again.  I will occasionally have pizza and such, but that mindless snacking is what causes my body to revolt.    Now I bring healthy snacks ie Zone bars, some cheese sticks, or a baggie with 4 ounces of chicken and a few strawberries or other pieces of fruit.  But that bread still knows my name...  it does nothing good for me though so I won't give in.  I'm happier without it.

If you could pick where H got a GM job, where would it be?  First, I do not want to go to Miami.  At all.  Not too crazy about the Atlanta area either.  Ideally, Phoenix or anywhere in AZ, Nashville or Denver.

Where is your favorite place to go on vacation? Maui!  Only been once though, it's kinda far.  I love all islands.  My typical trip is to Northern NY to visit the fam.  Next fun trip is going to involve my amazing new mountain bike and a charming cabin!

What is your middle name? Elizabeth!  Pretty right?  :)  It's my sister's late best friends middle name and my neices middle name also.  If I have a daughter her middle name will surely be Elizabeth.

During the 30 days of the extreme part of your diet, what did you miss the most? Did you ever cheat? Even once??

    Guilty pleasure?

    TV shows?

I must have a weird need to be last.

During the 30 days of the extreme part of your diet, what did you miss the most? Did you ever cheat? Even once?? Oh geez that's easy!  My evil sister posted something on Facebook about a triple chocolate muffin from Dunkin Donuts (which I would never eat ever, I'm more of a bran muffin girl) but I could not get it out of my mind.  Once I started adding protein bars, esp the ones with chocolate in them, I was fine again.  I definately cheated, but it wasn't extreme cheating.  The only time I ate something not "allowed" on the diet it was olive oil on my veggies or a tiny bit of sauce to dip veggies in.  A few times I ate a little too many veggies.   And there were a lot of days I switched a carb serving for 4 ounces of wine (wine is from grapes, after all!).  But I would always drink a lot of water to make up for it, to "flush it out".

Guilty pleasure?  Wow I am having a hard time with this.  I'm almost guilt free to a fault.  Maybe naps?  I pretty much need a nap every single day.  Just 15 minutes.  Just enough to rest my eyes.  Then I'm good to go.  I almost even like the disoriented feeling of waking up groggy.  Weird right?

    TV shows?

  • I forgot tv shows!

I love Survivor, House, and I Survived.  Also Blue Bloods and Hawaii Five-O.  Used to watch 24 and Lost but they are over.  And American Idol.
