Why is the movie Baby Mama so bad?
I can't believe it's fresh on Rotten Tomatoes! ?How could Tina Fey and Amy Poehler make such a terrible movie? ?DH alleges that it's because Tina Fey is the straight woman.

Re: Why is the movie Baby Mama so bad?
They do on Air France!!! I got my own bottle! AND camembert! AND real silverware! It was NUTS! :-) (Can you tell it was my first and only time and I was totally impressed?)
TTT: I agree. ?The Wingspan and Banjo joke was awesome. ?Also awesome was her ex boyfriend say, "I was involved in a bicycle accident that made my penis bigger." ?There were some totally awesome points. ?And I really wanted to like it. ?But it's like the really funny parts belonged in another movie. ?I was really disappointed, becuase what's not to love about Tina Fey & Amy Poehler.
I did like the 5 minutes of uninterrupted eye gazing as well. ?But then we watched it for too long. ?Also, the gum under the coffee table was awesome, but then Tina Fey just broke it. ??
?When did you fly? ?In July I got my own mini bottle of wine. ?By October, nothing. ?Now, they were different airlines, so maybe that's the difference. ?But I heard a lot of the cuts were done around September.
There's a funny story about a pilot carrying the knife they give you on the plane through security and having it taken away. ?Well, more pathetic than funny, really.?
I liked it. The story was under-developed. That whole sub-plot with Amy going into fashion designing just sorta tapered off. I think Amy played her role almost too smart? I think she should have been more red-neck-ish.
Anyone going through IF is going to hate the ending - so because of that I thought it was bad. I think another comedic actress could have played Tina Fey's role better, so in that way I ditto that shes not so good in the straight character roles. I liked the movie though - its good it wasn't trying to be too great, kwim?
