...of having off in the middle of the week! Everyone is at work (H is in St. Louis, currently) and I am in a sweatshirt, jeans, and still haven't showered. LOL.
So far today I've gone to the mall to pay off my VS card, went to Starbucks, and have a nail appointment at 1:30 (I at least got the motivation to put some laundry in). I figured I deserved a "me"-day. I've been working 10 hour days, 6 days a week. I figured I should enjoy days like these while I can.
What do you guys do on your "me" days?

Lol!
This is my first one in months since we moved home. We are going to be buying a house within the next month and I know I'm a crazy person when it comes to details and planning (i.e. wedding), so I thought I better find a way to relax.
Rub it in a little more, why don't 'ya?
I haven't had an actual 'me day' in a while, so I don't even know what I'd do with one of those.
Not meaning to rub it in, lol. I honestly didn't even realize I was alone until I woke up. I actually yelled for MIL to ask her if she needed anything.
Think of it this way, I'm choosing to spend my "me"-day with you guys
Feel special!

I've had one "me" day in the last 6 months, 4 weeks, 1 day... it was one of the last days where Sami was still in daycare, and I had to take a Friday off. I spent it running all the errands I wouldn't normally do with Sami in tow, and by the time I had "me" time, it was time to go pick her up.

I have so many "me" days during my miserable job search. I'd love to trade with any and all of you!
I work out, have a leisurely breakfast, watch tv, knit and then run errands or catch up things on my to-do list, like cleaning or crafting stuff with deadlines. Today I'm making Easter cards so I can mail them tomorrow.
I also do not remember my last "me" day. I"m a little annoyed that my husband got on on Saturday while I was at my friend's bridal shower all day and then again last night while I was still out with friends bridesmaid dress shopping, all of which I did with Alex because I didn't want to have to try to pump in public and it's way easier to just BF him. On the flip side, Joel was totally okay with me leaving Alex with him both times so I could have some time with my friends without Alex and I came up with about ten different excuses as to why it was better for me to take Alex with me. I just can't bring myself to be away from him yet, not even because I would worry because obviously Joel would be perfectly fine alone with him, I just don't want to be away from him!
Sorry went off on a total tangent. When I do have a "me" day I usually take a really really long hot shower complete with lotion at the end. When it's nice out I'll lay out on the back porch and soak up some sun.
Stand up for something you believe in.
