I'm so glad this is a short week. I really think I'm going to need it. I might even make it a 4 day weekend,
Nothing much last night. I did a pretty grueling workout and then went right outside for a run. My legs are dead today.
Tonight either the gas guy is coming to hook up the fireplace, or Derek will be working late. Either way I'm picking up our vegetable box and probably hitting up Sephora.
What does everyone else have on the go today?

Sometimes I think Tuesdays are harder than Mondays. Ugh.
Lastnight was uneventful, after the boys went to bed DH laid in bed and snuggled. Seriously we haven't done that for a while, and it was great.
Today I am having lunch with my BFF, and tonight hoping to get a workout in.

I'm in a great mood this morning! (Maybe TMI) I got a +OPK this morning and I'm on vacation, so DH went into work a little late. My neck is still really sore, so that was funny...
Other than that, last night was uneventful. Today I need to make a Wal-mart run at some point and I am going to try a 5 mile run. I ran yesterday and it didn't hurt more or less than not running, so hopefully today will be fine. It seems to be getting a little better, so I am hoping it goes away on its own. If it isn't gone by Thursday, I'll call a chiropractor. I've never been, so I am a little chicken about it...

Last night Eli came over and watched Preston for about an hour while I took Jordan for a haircut. Then he spent some time with Jordan throwing the baseball after we got home. I am really glad he is spending time with the kids even if we aren't sure we are going to work it out.
Tonight is Jordan's 2nd t ball game. He is so excited. I am sort of nervous about how I am going to juggle both kids, tball game, homework , bath time, and dinner. I might just have to be a bad mommy and run thru the drive thru somewhere tonight. O well it will all get done one way or another. I am so glad its a short week.
Ahh it's the big day... I'm so nervous/excited for him! He seems pretty calm though so I think he'll do great. Thanks for the wishes, I'll pass them on! The defense is at 1pm.
After the defense, he's got 48 hours to make corrections and submit his thesis. He says that if the corrections are too much to do in 48 hours, he'll be drowning his sorrows... otherwise if they're doable or there are no corrections, he'll be drinking till he forgets the last 7 years of his PhD

Today will be the usual go home, read something, probably nap until DH gets home too late for a normal dinner, fight about what's for dinner after I've probably already eaten a snack, play with the pooches, fight about TV garbage, go to bed and fight over who gets the extra space down the middle.

I thought the story and the direction were great, I really enjoyed the way they told the "story"... however close to the truth it may be, crazy how freaking much that company is... also made me long for the days it was .edu only and before parents could completely embarrass themselves on the daily.

Morning, all. Last night was quiet. I told Josh about my phone interview and we both have our fingers crossed that I get an in-person interview. Thanks to everyone who wished me luck.
It's getting gloomy out there and we're supposed to get some storms tonight; I'm also meeting with my book club, so I'll be doing my best to stay dry. For now, though, just hoping the day moves quickly.

C's worker canceled on us last minute, but she claimed she was filing the paperwork yesterday anyway. Good news is she's coming over in about an hour for the meeting.
Today depending on how the meeting goes we maybe headed up north a few days to an indoor water park. If not we're going to just hang out here.
Now she's asking to watch her mommy and daddy get married (she found our wedding dvd)

I worked 14.5 hours yesterday, but the long, dark night may be ending soon. Tonight is my daughter's sports banquet, and tomorrow we're doing an Earth Day project and I volunteered to plant trees and re-seed a burn site. I love doing outdoor stuff like that, and it's on company time. Thursday it PTO, and Friday is a holiday. I haven't had a workweek less than 6 days all year - this is going to be great!

Morning! I am enjoying every second of Spring Break. Today I am meeting DH in the city for lunch at our favorite sushi restaurant. Yum! When I get home, I am going on a cleaning frenzy. My mom is coming to visit tomorrow until the end of the week. She hasn't seen the house since we moved in, so I want it to be spotless.
On a sour note, I just sent a check for $1600 to the IRS. Boo Tax Day.
Good morning all. Today should be a pretty uneventful day. I will probably have to work late this evening, but that's ok.
Last night was the first night of Passover, and we went to SIL's house. As expected, it was kinda a nightmare. The kids were awful and ran all over the house shouting during dinner. I honestly just don't get it. That kinda thing never would have been tolerated in my house growing up. On top of it, SMIL basically invited everyone to stay at my parents' house in Vegas for her son's wedding. First off, my parents aren't invited to her son's wedding (even after she demanded that her daughter's inlaws be invited to my wedding), and secondly, umm, why would you invite your family to stay at my family's house? Don't you think you might want to check with them?

Crystal - I'm glad to hear he's spending time with boys. Also - going through the drive thru on a busy night certainly doesn't make you a bad mommy! I think you're doing an amazing job holding everything together.
Last night I worked out for the first time in over a week, it felt great! After an exhausting day at work and a hard workout I went to bed at 8:30. I feel like such an old lady these days!

Crystal - You're hardly a bad mom if the kids get drive thru on a night like tonight. You have a lot going on and are juggling the best you can *hugs*
As for me, not a ton going on. Just the usual work BS. One of the committees I'm on is becoming a nightmare. I don't understand why more people won't give into teleconfrence meetings. It would make everyone's life much easier.
After work I'm going to get my hair cut and colored, and probably get take out, since DH is OOT.

Nothing big here. Gloomy day in Boston, body conditioning class tonight. DH and his friend from Connecticut are going to the Celtics-Knicks playoff game tonight and the friend is staying over. I'm sort of hoping I'm asleep by the time they get home, because I'm not really in the mood for entertaining.
I should also mention that this is the BIL that didn't bother to tell B or I (or B's sister and DH) that he got engaged. The woman has no social graces. None.

I hate Tuesdays. My coworkers are crabby, my boss is being rude and I am buried under my desk with no end near.
