I was a good student and pulled up the lesson last night. I spent about one hour trying to figure out how to implement the custom white balance and I had no luck. The manual instructions were great, but for some reason my camera is acting up. I decided to give up and go to bed around 11 PM last night
I am going to give it another shot later today!
Oh, because I am SUPER excited, I have to share that yesterday I bought a Nikon 50 mm f1.4 AF-S lens! I couldn't find it in stock online so I called a local photoshop in Orlando and they had ONE in stock! I had my mom go and pick it up for me and she will bring it with her when she comes to visit next week. OMG, I can't wait to get it in my hands! I am further excited because my dad will be brining me the speedlight that he promised me as well!

The cheapest I could find it on Amazon for $549 (but it wasn't in stock). I ended up getting it for $479 from Colonial Photo and Hobby in Orlando. So it just goes to show, Amazon is not always the cheapest!
