I'm home today, recovering from Passover and some stomach bug I had on Sunday that wiped me out. I'm watching A Baby Story and keep seeing an add for a new show, a special edition of Say Yes To the Dress called "Big Bliss" about plus-sized women. I don't know why, but the title kind of bugs me. Why does this need to be a separate show? Why can't it just be part of the regular show?
I remember hating shopping for a wedding dress because mostly the only place I could try on a dress was David's. I ended up ordering a dress I fell in love with online without seeing it first...luckily it was PERFECT but I didn't get that experience of trying on dresses and finding "the one" because at a size 16 I couldn't fit into most of the samples (or so the people would say when I'd book so I would just not make appts). I don't know why this bugs me...
Re: "Big Bliss"
this really annoys me too.
Why can't they just put NORMAL sized (meaning all not 0/2) on the show and show them how difficult it is to find dresses that fit.
It seems ridiculous to make a separate show segregating one type of woman.
