Hey Ladies!
So Stephie had me thinking earlier that our 1st anniversary is in a month. DH is planning something special so I don't need to worry about that....but what about gifts?
Do/did you buy each other gifts?
I know the first year is paper...so I'm thinking I'll go ahead and order a photobook I designed (it's like 80 pages) of all of our trips since we got together. That is more for "us" though... I don't know what to get that he will really love.
Re: Anniversary... Gifts?

Hmm... really? Why??
A friend of mine gave her husband stocks for their anniversary. He loved it and it was super creative.

We followed the tradition of paper.
I got DH tickets to the Tran Siberian Orchestra and DH got me a book that I've been wanting and a ring.
He is just very traditional and doesn't like it I guess.
I can't think of anything paper besides the album. Hm.
I'm trying to order his favorite wine in the world (that cannot be bought anywhere but Sonoma) but it seems they discontinued it. I found it at one place but they don't ship to Texas. Hell.
I did the B-pics. I think the travel album is a cute idea! I am not going to follow the traditions starting this year--it's too hard. I also love the wine idea--that is something I do for Ben every year for Christmas and I really have to hunt sometimes.
You could also write him a letter. I told Ben one year for V-day that all I wanted was a love letter. He reallly didn't want to do it but he did and I loved it.
You could do a book of coupons that he could cash in, you know for like a neck massage, gourmet dinner, maybe an errand or chore that he hates doing, etc.
Oh, what about a magazine subscription to like SI or something?
With All the Trimmings
Just do it!
That's cute, I might have to steal it!
Haha, that IS a cute idea!
Well, I just found quite possibly the last bottle of this wine in existence and ordered it. It's a start!
We were just talking about this last night, since our anniversary is in August.
I got him a wallet (with paper money in it, hardy har) and a book.
That was the first and last year we followed the traditional anniversary gift thing.
