Can we talk about Donald Trump
Is he crazy or what? Does he really think a majority of people are going to take him seriously as a presidential candidate when he keeps insisting Obama isn't a US citizen and a "certificate of live birth" is not a birth certificate? Dude is off his rocker. Between him and Palin, are there any potential GOP candidates who aren't batsh!t crazy?

Of all the issues to tackle to set yourself up as a serious presidential candidate whether or not the current president *whom has been in office for half his term* was born in the US or not is ridiculous. I mean, he's president & been that way for awhile. I don't think holding a mid-term election is what is in the best interest of this country if some random new information was brought to light, ya know? Even if he does find "something" being the dude that discovered it doesn't mean you'd make a good president.
And his ideas for cutting the deficit are dumb...and self-serving.
I'm actually a little sad that the republican party has come to this (I'd like to call myself a republican, but I'm too social liberal to vote that way right now).
I'm a little terrified that one of them might get elected. Huckabee and his belief that Obama was influenced by his absent grandfather (who supposed was part of the Mau Mau revolution to hate the British and hate democracy) is jaw-droppingly stupid.
Trump doesn't understand the first thing about foreign policy
I mean it was different with McCain. At least he was sensible.
If the Republicans had a McCain type candidate this go around, then they definitely have a shot. The economy is killing Obama's approval rating. But so far, there are only the crazy and the more crazy possibilities.
