Re: Mrs.Reem
Are you kidding? I can barely get The Apprentice in once a week. lol!!
No in all seriousness, I've seen the trailers for it but those surrogacies are such a departure from what I'm doing that I don't expect to see a lot of parallels. I'm doing a private surrogacy as a gift, as opposed to going through an agency and for the compensation.
I'll probably save my TV time for something happier.
I feel ya! LOL
There was only one American woman, they were showing comparrisons, of the two countries. I thought of you when she was injecting herself w/ the hormones and taking pills. This one family had used her for their first child. And were using her again. And how she and her family went with her for the transfers and what not. But since this transfer will work, no worries there!
I totally think what you're doing is WAY better! Obviously! I felt sorry for the Indian women, to be used like that.
I guess I'm saying: Good Luck with this next transfer! I'll keep my fingers crossed all goes well!
Yes the part about the Indian women makes me physically ill. Doing a csection when she can still feel it? Forcing a csection and abortions? That's all so barbaric. It makes me shudder.
In a way it's good for Americans to see that, because I'd HOPE that it would steer them away from doing that to Indian women and condoning that sort of thing. On the other hand, it puts a sour taste in people's mouth about surrogacy in general because they think that's what all surrogacies are like.
Thanks for your kind wishes!! I so appreciate them!
Oh 100%! It was VERY crule! and made very sad!
BUT It's women like you and families like yours that give it a good name!
You'll do great this second time (techincally it'll be 3, since they're using 2 this time) so 3rd times the charm?
